What it does
Every roast is a written comedy line, picked at random from a set that was read by hand before it shipped. Nothing is worked out about you, and nothing is judged about you.

The camera waits until a face is in frame and takes the shot in about a second. Want to press the button yourself? Turn auto capture off in Settings. Flip to the rear camera to do it to a friend, or bring a picture in from your gallery.

Light, Spicy or Savage. Six roast packs, eight frame styles, and a free Roast Again on every result when the first line misses.

Group Roast lines everyone up in one shot and hands out a line each. Roast Battle takes two photos and blames the coin toss. No camera nearby? Name Roast only needs a name.

Every roast renders to a card at 1:1, 4:5 or 9:16 — sized for whatever you are posting it to. Save it, share it, or leave it in My Roasts: your own history, on your phone, working in flight mode.
Plus a Daily Roast to come back for, and a Ghatiya Meter score that is completely made up — and says so on the screen it appears on.

The roast lines, the Ghatiya Meter score and the Roast Battle verdict on these cards are fiction. They are randomly selected comedy, seeded from internal identifiers — not a measurement, and not a reading of anyone’s photo or face.
Privacy
Not a slogan — it is how the app is built. There is no upload in Ghatiya Cam because there is nowhere to upload to. Pictures are processed on your device and never sent anywhere: not to us, not to any advertising, analytics or payment company. The camera only works out where a face is in the frame and how many, so the shot can time itself and the caption can land in the right place. Nobody is recognised, ranked or compared, and no face data is kept.
Your roast captions and any name you type stay on the phone too. The full policy lists every service the app uses and exactly what each one receives.
